Dutch electronic music producer Legowelt’s live performance dedicated to his personal sources of inspiration from the history of cinema: John Carpenter, 70’s horror movies, Klaus Kinski… The show’s name is a reference to Carpenter’s cult classic “Assault on Precinct 13” (1976).
Legowelt is one of the many aliases of Danny Wolfers, who produces tracks influenced by Italo-disco, early Chicago house, disco, new wave and most of all, ‘80s electro. A passionate fan and master of vintage synthesizers, Legowelt’s adventurous style carries a beat-heavy, funky tone, accompanied by fluent, intense melodies.
